Binance announces that it will delist 4 altcoins (BCPT, CMT, TNB and VIBE)

by hotcoin71

It has come to my attention that Binance announced that it will delist 4 altcoins with an announcement on the 3rd of February.

The altcoins removed from the list are as follows, I have also increased there price at the time of writing and the ranking of the coin according to CoinGecko

Blockmason Credit Protocol (BCPT)
Price – 0.0099 USD
Ranked 682 by CoinGecko

CyberMiles (CMT)
Price – 0.0099 USD
Ranked 680 by CoinGecko

Time New Base (TNB)
Price – 0.0026 USD
Ranked 655 by CoinGecko

VIBE (VIBE)
Price – 0.0206 USD
Ranked 889 by CoinGecko

Binance says the following

When we conduct these reviews, we consider a variety of factors. Here are some that drive whether we decide to delist a digital asset:
  • Commitment of team to project
  • Level and quality of development activity
  • Trading volume and liquidity
  • Stability and safety of network from attacks
  • Network / smart contract stability
  • Level of public communication
  • Responsiveness to our periodic due diligence requests
  • Evidence of unethical/fraudulent conduct or negligence.
  • Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem
Important notes:

Withdrawaws of these coins and tokens from Binance will continue to be supported until 2021-05-10 at 10:00 AM (UTC).

Please note that if you have still not withdrawn your BCPT, CMT, TNB or VIBE tokens from Binance by 2021-05-10 at 10:00 AM (UTC), your tokens will be replaced with an equivalent amount of BUSD based on the price of the respective token shown on CoinMarketCap at the time of replacement.

Summary

Although the exact reasons have not been given my guess is that its probably very low trading volume and activity. You can see that in the Coingecko rankings that I listed with the highest ranked being over 600 and the value of them was very low. The highest being VIBE at 0.026

I wouldn't personally invest in coins/crypto/tokens that were that high.

Anyway, if you own these then probably best to swap them or cash them soon
